About the author/illustrator

Penelope Browne has been making art and writing stories her whole life. She’s sold art and illustration in many venues across the U.S. This is her debut Middle Grade novel.

Penelope lives in the Hill Country outside Austin, Texas. She works from a studio in her backyard where she can watch hummingbirds and deer, along with their tiny fawns every spring.
